Discover the freedom of diving with the SSI Open Water Diver course with Maldivers! Gain essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to plan and conduct your own dives. Upon completion, you’ll be able to enjoy independent diving with a buddy, free from supervision.

Our course includes immersive confined water (lagoon) dives where you’ll master dive skills, along with self-study from our comprehensive manual or online reading materials to gain necessary knowledge. You’ll then apply what you’ve learned during open water (ocean) dives. With 5 confined water dives, 5 knowledge development chapters, and 4 open water dives, you’ll be fully prepared for the greatest adventure of your life!

How many days would it take?

All of our scuba diving programs are performance based, not time based. Depending on how comfortable you are underwater and the amount of time you have, the whole program can be completed in about 4-6 days.

Do I get a certification?

Yes you will get the SSI Open Water Diver certification which is an internationally recognized diving certification. Using the SSI My Dive App you can show your dive certification and proof of logged dives.
